Karen Tosh is a preeminent family lawyer located in Boston, Massachusetts.  She has represented clients in contested and uncontested family law cases for thirty years, including child custody and divorce trials in more than two hundred evidentiary hearings over the course of her career.

In 2005, Karen was named a "Rising Star in the Law," by BOSTON MAGAZINE.  In 2006, and every year since, she has been named a Massachusetts "Super Lawyer," by BOSTON MAGAZINE.

Karen is a Certified Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and is a member of the Massachusetts Chapter.  The AAML is an exclusive family law organization committed to excellence.  Admission is by examination.  Karen has chaired the Education Committee, served on the Amicus Curiae Committee, Board of Examiners, Board of Managers, and as an officer.

Karen has sixty hours of mediation training.

In 2002, Karen completed the HARVARD PROGRAM ON NEGOTIATION created by Roger Fisher at Harvard Law School.

Karen co-authored with David A. Hoffman, and published in the MASSACHUSETTS FAMILY LAW JOURNAL, "Coaching from the Sidelines:  Effective Advocacy in Divorce Mediation."

Karen has also served as an expert witness in a significant legal malpractice case in which the jury adopted her opinion as to liability and the standard of care.
